INTRODUCTION:
This is the
first anticipated international seminar on Entrepreneurship
and Societal Development in ASEAN organized by the newly
formed consortium-AUCEE. The ASEAN Universities Consortium
of Entrepreneurship Education (AUCEE) was established early
this year by the Co-operative and Entrepreneurship Development
Institute (CEDI) of Universiti Utara Malaysia. The establishment
of this consortium is to provide a coordinated vehicle through
which participating members can collaborate and communicate
on the specific issues and challenges confronting university-based
entrepreneurship centers.
This seminar
is collaboration between The Co-operative and Entrepreneurship
Development Institute (CEDI) of Universiti Utara Malaysia;
National Entrepreneurship Institute (INSKEN); Universiti
Padjajaran (UNPAD), Bandung; Universiti Komputer Indonesia
(UNIKOM) and Prince Songkla of University (PSU), Thailand.

OBJECTIVES:
A) To provide
a platform for leaders, academicians, administrators and
students of ASEAN countries to meet and exchange views and
to share experiences about issues and challenges of entrepreneurship
and societal development.
B) To provide the opportunity to build network and develop
potential areas and to share human and material assets as
well as to link academic and administrative resources.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
The seminar should
be of interest to academicians, executives, managers, administrators,
consultants, investors, businessmen, and also students who
are interested to listen and discuss issues pertaining in
enhancing growth and wealth in the ASEAN region through
entrepreneurship.
